Developmental Editing
Here I will assist you with “bigger picture” details like filling plot holes, polishing character development, tightening up or reorganizing the story, and smoothing out the flow. We will work closely to guarantee your story will come together in a way that feels both true to you and speaks to the audience you hope to draw in.
Rate: $0.04 per word
PATH TWO
Copyediting
Here I will help you with the finer details: grammar, spelling, syntax, and punctuation. I will comb each sentence to work through any tangles in flow, tone, and style.
Rate: $0.02-$0.03 per word (dependent on the level of copyediting [light to heavy])
PATH THREE
Proofreading
The “finishing touches” phase. Here I will correct any remaining typographical errors and double-checking page layout before you send your work off to print or to a publisher.
Rate: $0.01 per word

Manuscript Evaluation
Here I’ll help you discover what is working well in your manuscript and what could use some bolstering. I will also include an evaluation of what sort of editing I would recommend going forward.
Rate: $0.015 per word
