My name is Kharysa (pronounced like “Carissa”). I’m a geeky introvert and lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest who loves to surround herself with books and art.
I’m here to aid you in making your work the best version of itself!
Think of me as your suit of armor: you already have the skills and knowledge, I just guarantee that you look professional and offer protection against the threat of plot holes, questionable grammar, and intimidating comma usage.
I edit manuscripts as small as flash fiction and as large as novels; specializing in horror, sci-fi, fantasy and/or romance (give me all the genre crossovers!). From developmental editing to copyediting to proofreading, I’ve got your back.
Credentials: I earned my editing certification through the University of Washington, have a strong background in literature, and am a member of the Northwest Editors Guild, ACES: the Society for Editing, and the Freelance Editors Club.
